Eirik Blekesaune

Eirik Blekesaune(b.1980) is an artist and computer programmer based in Trondheim, Norway. He works in various artistic disciplines such as performance art and theatre, installations, electromechanic sculpture and sound art.

He has been a a part of the artistic leadership of the internationally acclaimed performance art group Verdensteatret where he worked with creating sound and electromechanical sculptures, programming computer systems for multimedia, digital musical instruments design.

A Thoth Work (2022)
Mixed media, robotics, supercollider, sound, light, video / 2018 – 2022

A Thoth Work is a multimedia sculptural installation where suspended motorized wooden sticks move three-dimensionally in space, and continuously “draw” new figures and shapes.

Genius Loci (2022)

A collaboration with composer Martin Taxt and visual artist Eirik Blekesaune.

This work will be a part of the Territories exhibition at Lydgalleriet in Bergen. The Territories project is a multi disciplinary project created by NyMusikk and Ulf A. S. Holbrook.
