Our premises
Rotvoll Kunstnerkollektiv (RKK) is situated in Rotvoll, a unique area in Trondheim. Surrounded by forest, green fields and views of the nearby fjord, Rotvoll provides an inspiring setting for artistic practise and collaboration. The area is close to the city center and easily accessible by public transport, making it convenient and tranquil.
RKK resides in building A and C of Rotvoll Park. We have studios used daily by around 80 artists representing various art fields with the main emphasis on visual art, music and performing arts.
In our premises we have project rooms and shared spaces available to all artists in the house.
Our facilities include:
2 Soundproof ensemble rooms with professional equipment. One room is equipped with an acoustic piano, the other is equipped with a complete backline for the band, as well as a small PA. There are 4 music stands in the rooms.
Media lab that includes equipment for photo, video, scanning and sound editing.
Chapel room with piano for performances, workshops, social gatherings, rehearsals and concerts.
Gallery/project room for exhibitions, installations, or workshops.
Visual joint workshop 38 m² equipped with a printing press.
There is also a spacious room 132 m2 available to be rented for rehearsal, events, meetings or as an exhibition space for performative art. This room can be rented to both in house artists and externally by earlier booking and with a rental fee.
