Katarzyna Anna Chrzanowska is a ceramic designer working with abstract ceramics, sculpture, and porcelain design. She graduated from the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, Poland, in 2010 with a Master’s degree in Ceramic Design. She is a member of the Norwegian Association for Arts and Crafts and Trondhjems Art Association.
Her projects explore materiality and spirituality in relation to humanity and symbolism. She combines ceramics and porcelain with other media to create an aesthetic contrast between elegance and rusticity, inspired by Nordic nature.
Chrzanowska has exhibited in Trondheim (Trøndelag Exhibition 2015, December Exhibition 2020 and 2023, Nordenfjeldske Museum of Art and Design 2015, Galleri 7 2023); Straumen, Nord-Trøndelag (Nils Aas Gallery 2015 and 2017); Bergen (solo exhibition at Galleri KRAFT 2017); Hitra (Hitra Coastal Museum MIST 2023); and in several international art exhibitions.
