Maia Reppe—mezzosopran

Maia Reppe (b.1996) is from Alvdal but now lives in Trondheim, where she works as a freelance singer. In the spring of 2021, she completed a master’s degree in classical vocal performance at the Department of Music in Trondheim. Maia received a scholarship from the Gunnar Løkkens minnefond in 2015, as well as Drømmestipendet in 2016. In the spring of 2019, 2020, and 2023, she was awarded the Sparebank 1 Østlandet Talentstipend. In the spring of 2023, she also received a cultural grant from the Trøndelag Fylkeskommune. As a performer, she has frequently been a soloist with orchestras, choirs, and bands, and has participated as both a singer and dancer in several productions by Opera Trøndelag and Opera di Setra. In the spring of 2022, she toured with Turneteateret, Opera Trøndelag, and Fylkesmusikerne in the audience favorite Bør Børson Jr. In the spring of 2023, she performed the title role with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra and Opera in the production David and Bathsheba by Ståle Kleiberg in Norway and Poland. In the fall of 2024, Maia made her debut in the role as Cherubino in Opera Nordfjord's production of The Marriage of Figaro
