Morten Berger Stai

Morten Berger Stai works as a freelance musician based in Trondheim. He has specialized in classical Arabic music and performs with a variety of projects both in Norway and internationally. He has also composed commissioned works for dance productions, works extensively across disciplines, and produces video and sound projects. In addition, he works with sound design, film music, theatre productions, and his own projects.

He has previously received the Norwegian Government’s Artist Grant for emerging artists and the Trondheim Municipality Ramallah Grant. In 2023, he won the Spellemann Award with Rasmus and Verdens Beste Band.
