Nina Sætherhaug is a mezzo-soprano from Trondheim. She was trained at the Norwegian Academy of Music (NMH) and the Royal College of Opera in Stockholm. She made her debut in 2008 as Lisetta in Haydn’s opera Il mondo della Luna at Drottningholm Slottsteater and has since had an extensive career as a soloist in opera and church music.
Nina has performed in productions for Opera Sør, TSO Musikkteater, Opera Trøndelag, Kamfest, Scene Nord, Opera Setra, Operaen i Kristiansund, Oslo Chamber Music Festival, and Oslo Opera Festival. She has received several grants, including awards from Musikaliska Akademien and the Tom Wilhelmsen Stipend Fund.
She currently works as a permanent singer with Trondheim Vokalensemble, as a pedagogue and freelance singer, and is a member of Trondheim Kammeropera.
