Rannveig Ryeng

Rannveig Ryeng (b. 1988) is a versatile violinist from Trondheim. She received her performance training at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. She is an active freelance musician and, in recent years, has worked both as a chamber musician and as a soloist with ensembles such as Trondheimsolistene, and as concertmaster for the Midtnorsk Symphony Orchestra.

She has participated in theatre productions at Det Norske Teatret, Christiania Teater, Folketeatret, and Trøndelag Teater. In addition, Rannveig has many years of experience in Argentine tango and performs with several award-winning tango ensembles, including Tangueros del Norte and Tango Ensillado.

In recent years, she has also worked as a music producer on several recordings, including producing the Spellemann-winning album Visions of Tango with Håkon Skogstad and Trondheimsolistene.
