Hello, my name is Rolf Martin Snustad, and I make a living through music in various contexts. He primarily plays saxophone and also sings on occasion. He is currently working on a doctoral thesis on improvisation in music—both as a possibility and an outlet, and as an artistic, but particularly pedagogical practice.

I can:
  • Play saxophone in various settings, including horn sections and solo performances, especially within the ear-trained music tradition
  • Teach saxophone, particularly improvisation and in workshop settings
  • Work tirelessly with children and young people through music
  • Arrange music, particularly for ensembles involving wind instruments
